GUITAR CD

preafrumoase 2 is the latest solo guitar CD released by Maxim Belciug (and his second one in this series).

preafrumoase is the Romanin word for "most beautiful". As the title says, Maxim Belciug gathers in this CD some pieces nursed with joy and love for the music that speaks to the soul. With this repertoire, the guitarist does not exhibits that kind of guitar technique which too often falls in arid gymnastics, but shows what being a musician is really about: make people feel the beauty of the guitar and its music.

The first edition of the Guitar Estival, organized by Kitarodia, took place from June 18 to August 06, 2009, at the Romanian National Library, and included 8 summer concerts, programmed every Tuesday evening. Performing guitarists: Maxim Belciug, Tudor Anghelescu, Olivia Iancu, Cludiu Lobont, Mihai Cojocaru, George Popescu, Mihai Melinescu. Guests: Alex Sturzu (percussion), Stefan Filip & Irina Opritescu (dance), Gabriel Spahiu (actor). See more details here.

GUITAR FESTIVAL

The seventh edition of the TRANSILVANIA International Guitar Festival took place in Cluj-Napoca during 17-22 August 2009.

As part of the festival, there have been present proeminent figures of guitar.
